James R. "Wimp" Wickerham, 81 years of Seaman, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Hospice of Cincinnati East.
He was born in Locust Grove, Ohio on May 21, 1926 the son of the late Ernest C. and Mary Tener Wickerham.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Seaman United Presbyterian Church, Scott Township Fire Department, Seaman Life Squad, charter life member of the American Legion, life member of the DAV, and charter member of the Seaman Lions Club. He drove a school bus for North Adams School for thirty-two years, and was a Rural Mail Carrier for the Seaman area for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Ruth Armstrong Wickerham of Seaman, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Lee Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
