Jane McPherson, 72 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at her residence.
She was born August 24, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Henry and Alberta Quance Koontz. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky McPherson and one sister, Janet Ganger.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert K. McPherson; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Chuck Lovett of Hillsboro; two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert L. McPherson of Dayton, OH., Randy and Judy McPherson of Dayton, OH.; four grandchildren, Kenny McPherson, Ryan Smith, Rod Smith and Amber McPherson; one great granddaughter, Katrina Smithz; one brother, James Koontz of New Hampshire; three sisters, Doris Craig of Dayton, OH., Shirley Kyzer of West Alexandria, OH. and Jean Leitte of Piqua, OH.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
