Jane A. Spargur

Jane A. Spargur, 72 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence.
She was born September 13, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH., the daughter of the late Richard and Marjorie (Carey) Pavey. Beside her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Spargur on July 6, 2001.
Jane was a member of the Hillsboro First Baptist Church, graduate of Lima Shawnee High School and Bliss Business College in Columbus. Jane worked several years for Dr. Richard Cronley in Waynesville and later for the Hillsboro City Schools.
Jane is survived by one daughter, Lisa A. Spargur of Hillsboro; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and David Parry of Hillsboro, Mary and Rick Vollmer of Chillicothe, Pamela and Dennis Lafferty of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Hillsboro First Baptist Church, 127 South West Street, Hillsboro.
Rev. Larry Stewart will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro and Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Church.
