Janet A. Brown, 77 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center, Seaman, Ohio.
She was born in Highland County on July 10, 1941, the daughter of the late L. D. "Babe" and Gladys Virginia (Quickle) Main. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her son, Anthony Lee "Tony" Brown.
Janet was a member of the Marshall Church of Christ and worked for Hunter Meats, Wards Flower and Jean's Flowers.
Janet is survived by her husband, Rodney Brown, whom were married on April 29, 1958, two grandchildren, Bill (Sharon Maxwell) Brown of Sinking Spring and Heather (Luke) Overman of Dillsburg, PA, four great grandchildren, Salena and Zack Brown and Jenna and Logan Overman, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gene (Delma) Brown of Hillsboro, Kenneth (Wanda) Brown of Hillsboro and Mary (Bob) Sherman of Troy and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Celebration of life will be 1:00 PM Friday January 4, 2019 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
