Janet L. Williams, 74 years of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the Life Care Hospital of Dayton.
She was born in Melvin, OH on September 7, 1940, the daughter of the late Leo Wayne and Mary Louise (Rock) Baldwin. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband Robert D. Williams on November 16, 2014; one son Denver, one sister Nancy Jean Baldwin and two brothers Harold and David Baldwin.
Janet was a graduate from Southern State Community College, for Nursing and was in the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.
Janet is survived by her three sons, David (Terry) Chain of Hillsboro, John (Deborah) Ward of Greenfield and Donnie (Shawn) Ward of Hillsboro; one daughter Mary (Jeff) Bennington of Franklin, four step-daughters, Linda (Mike) Hall of Medina, Debbie (Jack) Straub of Chillicothe, Chris Tolle of Seaman and Sharon Williams of Greenfield, one brother Richard Baldwin of Wilmington, four sisters, Barbara Runser of Grange, Connie Collins of Lynchburg, Kathy DeRose of Lynchburg and Deanna Hackett of the Villages of Florida, 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery with Dr. Keith Perkins officiating.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
