Janice E. Hays, 81 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2018.

She was born in Cincinnati on June 21, 1936, the daughter of the late James and Jean (Stewart) Padgett. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her husband, Keith Hays on July 14, 1987 and son, Brian Hays.

Janice is survived by her son, Sam (Kathie) Hays of New Richmond, Ohio, four grandchildren, Eric and Kaley Hays, Nicole (Josh) Thorpe and Courtney Hays and three great grandchildren, Brian and Emma Thorpe and Landen Hays.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Thursday January 18, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thompson Funeral Home.
