Janice Irene Jennings, 78 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, September 15, 2001 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born at Floyd County, Kentucky on September 7, 1923 the daughter of James and Florence Alexander Sluss.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Donald Jennings, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Jennings whom she married on August 10, 1940, three sons and daughters-in-law, Elmer and Alice Jennings of Hillsboro, Charlie Jennings of Hillsboro, Ralph and Nancy Jennings of Hillsboro two daughters, Jean Willey of Hillsboro, Juanita Davis of Hillsboro, one brother John Sluss of Hillsboro, three sisters, Dorothy Pollard of Hillsboro, Ruth Crabtree of Hillsboro, Jean Music of Hillsboro, thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
