Janie A. Shoemaker, 87 years of Peebles, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on November 2, 1920 the daughter of the late Alva and Rosa Riley White.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Shoemaker, who passed away on February 5, 1988, two brothers, Leo and David White, and one sister, Mary Shoemaker.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Don White of Peebles, two brothers, Everett White of Piketon, Lane White of Peebles, two grandchildren, Darren White, Amy Parker, two great grandchildren, Mason White, Chad Alexander, and two great great grandchildren, Cole and Caleb.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bob Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
