Jay A. Munn, 87 years old, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, November 5, 2005.
He was born May 1, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Walter Daniel and Anna D. Lukitsch Munn.
Retired Army Officer, Mr. Munn worked for General Electric in Cincinnati
for many years as an Aeronautical Engineer and Honeywell Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona, where he resided for 30 years.
On July 13, 1946, he was united in marriage to Mercedes B. Nelson Munn who survives. He is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria Munn and Bruce Lamb of Hillsboro, Ohio, Elizabeth and Tracy Corder of Federal Way, Washington; four grandchildren, Dr. Laura Scott McGuckin of Alexandria, Virginia, Jonathan N. Lamb of Denver, Colorado, Marshall D. Popham and Derek M. Popham, both of Washington State.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in the
Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
