Jean O Havens

Jean O. Havens, 93 years of Tipp City, formerly of Sinking Spring, died Friday June 26, 2009 at her residence.

She was born at Cynthiana, Ohio on January 1, 1916 the daughter of the late Aaron M. and Anna May Marshall Fry. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by husband Ova Havens, two sons, Paul and Jack Havens, two son-in-law, Dale Werts, William Findell, five brothers, six sisters.

She was member of the Tip City Women's Civic Club, Lifetime member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #586 Tipp City.

She is survived by four daughters, Louise Findell of Tipp City, Mary Werts of Tipp City, Joan Bill Strobridge of Chuluota, Flordia, Nancy Joe Weaver of Tipp City, one sister, Beatrice Wardlow of East Monroe, thirteen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring with Rabbi Alan Freedman officiating.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 Noon at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio
