Jean Knauff, 84 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Crestwood Nursing Center.

She was born in Pike County, OH. on February 5, 1928, the daughter of the late George Branson and Dollie F. Ingles Puckett. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Maxie H. Knauff on March 8, 1998; five brothers, Donald, Carl, Beryl, Dale, Cecil Puckett; four sisters, Dora Dunn, Velma Blakeman, Hazel Puckett, Dorothy Vance Rhoads.

Jean was a member of the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-law, Fred and Janet Knauff of Hillsboro, John Knauff of Hillsboro, Mike Knauff of Hillsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Tom Caldwell of Hillsboro, Christy and David Snider of Hillsboro; three brothers, Roy Puckett of Chillicothe, George "Pete" Puckett of Peebles, Harry "Jack" Puckett of Sinking Spring; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle Church, State Route 41, Locust Grove, OH.

Pastor Richard Williams will officiate with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
