Jeffrey A. Fair, 61 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2023.
He was born in Palatka, FL on March 14, 1962, the son of the late Bobby and JoAnne (Earls) Fair. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his sister, Pam (Fair)Rose.
Jeffrey was a member of the Hillsboro Liberty Lions Club, he worked for many years as a Vocational Director for Putnam County DD in Florida and then for Warren County DD in Ohio. He was a supervisor for many years and at Airborne Express before obtaining a degree at Cincinnati State he then employed by Clermont Mercy Hospital as a Clinical Lab Technologist.
Jeffrey loved his children and grandchildren and loved to travel and exploring the different forms of art and art festivals. He excelled in making chain mail jewelry, pottery, and stain glass. He enjoyed photograph, drawing, cooking, hiking and fishing. Jeffrey was a 7 year brain cancer survivor and attended Reel Recovery a non-profit fly fishing retreat that help support men recovery from cancer and Epic Experience a week long cancer camp for adults fighting cancer in the Colorado Smoky Mountains.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet (Brooks) Fair, children, Jessica (Joe Miracle) Walker of Bethel, Erin (Chad) Stern of FL, Alex (Kristin) Walker of Folsom and Alain (Marissa) Fair of Cincinnati, seven grandchildren, Kaitlynn Jones, Norris Miracle, Liam and Autumn Stern, Kaylin Branscome, Eli and Lincoln Walker, and siblings, Andrew (Beth) Fair of Pennsylvania, Michelle (Michael) Hilliker of Texas and Patrick Fair of California and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a reception at their home immediately following the services.
