Jennie Mae Bloom

Jennie Mae Bloom, 99 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, August 16, 2001 at her residence.

She was born in Morrow County, Ohio on January 7, 1902 the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Jennie Delora Rinehart Godman.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, the Highland County Senior Citizens, and the Theo Club.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Irwin Bloom, who passed away November 23, 1973, one son, Wendell Bloom, three brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Velma and Lou Behm of Hillsboro, Geneva Carpenter of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Charles Carolyn Walker of Hillsboro, Dave Margie Walker of Wilmington, Peggy Mike Rector of Hillsboro, Bobby Walker of Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Judy Jon Jove of Grants Pass, Oregon, Jan Barney of Hillsboro, Jeanette Washburn of Hillsboro, Richard L. Yvonne Washburn of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jane Loue Cobble of Davenport, Florida, Joan Don Miles of Americus, Georgia, Bonnie Deckinger of Lakeland, Florida, John Sandy Bloom of North Carolina, twenty-three grandchildren, and twenty-two great great

grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with David Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
