He was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 5, 1965, the son of the late Joseph B. and Joann (Smith) McConnaughey.
Besides his mother, Jerald is survived by his daughter, Katelyn McConnaughey, brother, Joseph (Dee) McConnaughey, sisters, Jacquelyn (David) Nelson, Jennifer (David) Ellinger, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
