Jerry W. Orr, 64 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Fayette County, Ohio on May 3, 1942 the son of the late Earl and Lucille Scott Orr.
He worked for Rocky Fork State Park and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Todd W. Orr, who passed away in 1994.
He was united in marriage on January 5, 1964 to Joyce Rarden Orr, who survives. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Mary Ellen Orr of Washington Court House, David and Debbie Orr of Virginia Beach, Virginia, sisters, Susan Dolan of Washington Court House, Janice Keaton of Missouri, two granddaughters, Jessica and Katie of Hillsboro, special friends, Darci and Mark Hedges and their daughters, Emma and Erin of Hillsboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro Church of Christ with David Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
