Jesse A. Williams, 87 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday January 7, 2022.
He was born in Magoffin County, KY on November 6, 1934, the son of the late Lonnie and Laxie (Hill) Williams. Besides his parents, he was also preceded by his wife, Donna (Pierce) Williams on June 21, 2016; brothers Danny, Jim and John Williams; sister Magdelean "Peg" Branham Williams and daughter-in-law Andrea Williams
Jesse served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, was a member of the Freedom Fellowship Church and was the owner and operated Better Built Homes in Fairview.
Jesse is survived by his son, Steve Williams of Hillsboro; daughters Tina (Mark) Teague of Hillsboro, Karen Shumaker of Milford, and Janice (Randy) Gentry of Clarksville; grandchildren, Jessica (Lucas Moore) Teague, Anthony (Anna) Teague, Austin (Hailey Hammet) Teague, Jeremy Gentry, Rebecca Gentry, Joseph (Amie) Shumaker, and Elizabeth (Brett) McNinch; great-grandchildren Jordan, Jayden, Jared, Kaycee, Jason, Max, Alani, Sydney, Logan, Haley, Addyson, Danielle, and Avery and sisters Alena Sever and Lorean Kellough.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday January 14, 2022 at Hillsboro Freedom Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at New Market Baptist Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 11 :00 A.M. until time of services on Friday January 14, 2022 at Hillsboro Fellowship Church.
