Jessie M. Stevens, 81 years of Seaman, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on January 16, 1922 the daughter of the late Harley and Stella Huff Ryan.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Stevens, who passed away in 1980, one son, Robert Stevens, one grandson, James Stevens, and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Stevens of Sardinia, two granddaughters, Leigh Ann Tony Long of Sardinia, Jennifer Stevens of Sardinia, five great grandchildren, brother, Bill Ryan of Winchester, sister, Pearl Troutman of Sardinia, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Raymond Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
