Jim Cluxton, 75 years of Peebles, died Saturday, February 24, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Brown County, Ohio on January 19, 1932 the son of the late Harold and Mildred Kirk Cluxton.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Scioto County Milk Association.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Helen Cluxton.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann Thomas Cluxton whom he married on January 14, 1973, one son Mike Cluxton of Hillsboro, four daughters & son-in-law, Sue Carrel of Columbus, Marilyn Jones of Columbus, Melinda Mustard of Columbus, Helen and Denver Williams of Peebles, one step daughter, Debbie Jim Shupert of Seaman, one step daughter-in-law, Bobbie Johnson of Peebles, one sister Carol Campbell of Fairborn, two brothers, John Cluxton of Peebles, Bill Cluxton of Cincinnati, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Baptist Church with James Ritchie and Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
