Jim Hibbs

Jim Hibbs, 62 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 2, 1943 the son of the late Jennings and Lizzie Robinson Hibbs.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Union Hill Church.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janie Muncus Hibbs, son, Jim Bob Hibbs, and two brothers, Tom and Freddie Hibbs.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Hibbs, who he married on April 8, 1994, step son, Joe Rachel Smith of Peebles, step daughter, Lisa Tim Howe of Peebles, sister, Ruth Pitzer of Peebles, and two step grandchildren, Amanda and Sam.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Union Hill Church with Judy Kay Van Hoy and Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery, with Military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Union Hill Church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
