Jimmie Disher, age 68 of Peebles, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Evansville, Indiana on December 20, 1945 the daughter of the late James and Mildred Disney Perkins.
Besides her parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, David Matthew Disher.
Jimmie attended Tranquility Full Gospel Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Disher of Peebles; daughter, Dawn Mapes of Peebles; sisters, Linda Sawyer of Warren, Michigan and Debbie Hardt of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Joyce and James.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Tranquility Full Gospel Tabernacle with Ed Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Tranquility Full Gospel Tabernacle.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
