Joan Kay Lewis, 67 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, OH on September 30, 1942 the daughter of the late Harold Baumgardner and Gladys Riddle Browne of Hillsboro.
Beside her mother she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Marian Lewis of Lynchburg, one daughter, Cheryl Storer of Hillsboro, one sister and brother-in law, June and Glenn Stratton of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren, Larry Storer, Chad Storer, Elizabeth Littler, Amber Perry, Angela Perry, Anthony Perry, Adam Perry, Cody Stratton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor John Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Eagle Services will be held at 7:30 P.M. followed by VFW Services.
