Joann I. Justus, 78 years of Sciotoville formerly of Hillsboro died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born at Williamsburg on September 24, 1932 the daughter of Frankie and Joy Harshbarger Fender.
She was a member of the Waits Baptist Church Slocum,
Ohio and a dedicated Christian. She taught school in Hillsboro Public Schools and the Wheelersburg School System where she retired. She was a loving wife and great companion for 35 years
She is survived by her husband Arch Justus of Sciotoville; one son Kip Cheryl Williams of Georgetown; one daughter Kim Norman Crum of Hillsboro; two step sons, John Mary Ann Justus of Winston Salem, NC: Jeff Michelle Justus of Richmond, IN; three grandchildren, Ashley Armstrong, CJ George, Alexis Crum; two great grandchildren, Colton Armstrong, and Lucas Briggs.
Graveside services will be 12:15 noon August 6, 2011 at the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10:00 till 11:45 Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
