Joann Parr, 72 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley at Seaman.
She was born at Rarden on April 1, 1939 the daughter of the late Jesse and Rosella Jenkins Smith.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her husband Willard Parr of Hillsboro, one son Mark Ryan of Hillsboro, four daughters and sons in law, Cindy and Craig Wilson of Peebles, Connie and Mark Greene of Cincinnati, Carolyn and Danny Pertuset of Peebles, Cheryl and Matthew Greene of Peebles, two step daughters, Karen Burchett of AZ, Mary Fettro of Hillsboro, five brothers, one sister, seven grandchildren, Shana, Chad, Lee, Tyley, Luke, Hannah, Haley, Gale, Nash, two great grandchildren, Gage and Nash.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Peebles Church of Christ with Mark Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 AM till time of service at 12:00 noon at the Peebles Church of Christ.
The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of Arrangements
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley or the Peebles Church of Christ.
