Joanne Helterbrand 69 years of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born at Wood Cross, Utah on June 24, 1943 the daughter of the late Russell and Cecil Freestone Bales. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by Geneva and Wendell Chrisman who raised her and one brother Robert Bales.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Helterbrand whom she married on February 15, 1963; son and daughter -in- law, William and Linda Helterbrand of Knoxville, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Tim Stapleton of Richwood, OH; one sister, Marsha Brown of Sabina, OH; one sister-in-law, Sara Bales of Samantha, OH; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating.
Friends may call from 12:00 noon till 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
