Joe Baker. 69 years of Seaman, died Monday, January 7, 2002 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital.
He was born at Seaman on March 27, 1932 the son of Joseph F. and Anna Belle Shreffler Baker.
He was a member of the Mayhill Church of Christ, and had been a Equipment operator for Scott Township for 26 years and was also a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Arlie Sloas Baker whom he married on October 4, 1968, four sons and daughters-in-law, David and Tina Baker of Blue Creek, Keith Baker of Louden, Dennis and Debbie
Baker of Seaman, Joseph and Patty Baker of Winchester, three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Kevin Ewing of Columbia, IN, Anita and Daniel McCann of Seaman, Trina and Ryand Shaw of
Seaman, one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Grace Baker of Peebles, one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Belle and Rolland McClure of Grove City, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral servces will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Garry Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
