John M. Alexander

John M. Alexander, 65 years of Seaman, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown.

He was born June 24, 1937 in Winchester, the son of the late Isaac F. and Hattie Mae Kinnett Alexander.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Clarence Shorty Alexander.

He was a member of the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union, an Army Veteran and DAV of Peebles.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Alexander, son and daughter-in-law, John and Georgeann Alexander, Jr. of Peebles, two daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Johnny Carter of Winchester, Jacquelyn and Jered Harvey of Mill River, Massachusetts, four grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Shane and Luke, one brother Donald Alexander of Buford, one sister Wanda Short of Sardinia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union, State Route 136, Winchester, Ohio. The Rev. John Gray will officiate with burial following at the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 6, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
