John Wilson Binkley, 75, of Hillsboro, died March 31, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He had been diagnosed with ALS in 2020.
John was born October 10, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Jesse and Gertrude (Meyer) Binkley. He was a graduate of Wright State University and farmed for many years in the Elmville and Belfast communities.
John is survived by his wife, Teresa Vance, whom he married October 23, 1978.Also surviving are his children and their spouses, Adrian (Nathan) Hawk, Annen Vance, Evan (Sara Anderson) Binkley, and grandchildren Alora Stuckert, Miles Stuckert, Linus Stuckert, and Harlan Hawk.
In 2015, John became a kidney donor, and that gift also survives him.
Per John's request, no services will be observed. John has donated his body to the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine Body Donation Program, to aid in medical training and research. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley ( https://hospiceofhope.com/ ) can be made in John's memory.
