John D. Blair, 78 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2016 at the Christ Hospital.
He was born in Hillsboro, on December 8, 1937, the son of the late Plinny D. and Hazel Lucille (Yarger) Blair, Sr. John is also preceded by one brother, Daniel Lee Blair and sister, Barbara Jane Adams.
John owned and operated Blair Homes, in Hillsboro, for many years and was a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
John is survived by his wife, Alice (Harmon) Blair, whom were married on November 20, 1964, son, Jay Blair of Hillsboro, daughter, Julie (Rick) Kisling of Hillsboro, brother, Plinny (Beulah) Blair, Jr. of Hillsboro and sister, Nancy (David) Wyckoff of Hillsboro, six grandchildren: Alyssa Jane Jones, Owen David Jones, Mandy (Clint) Bishop, Mitzi (Tyler) Puckett, Kyle (Jessica) Kisling and Brett Kisling, three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM on Monday November 14, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday November 13, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Northside Church of Christ or to the Pregnancy Center in Hillsboro.
