John Edward Cameron, 67 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday September 27, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Maysville, KY on January 12, 1948, the son of the late Edward E. "Gene" Cameron and Pauline (Mullenix) Cameron of Hillsboro.
John was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, retired Sales Person for Clear Channel in the Tampa, Fl. area after 30 years and was a member of the Hillsboro 1st Presbyterian Church. John was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.
John is survived by his mother, Pauline Cameron of Hillsboro, two daughters, Camille (David) Uldricks of Columbus, OH and Lauren (Mike) Moore of Tampa, FL; three brothers, Jeff (Darrilyn) Cameron of Brentwood, TN, Joel (Marianne) Cameron of Gallatin, TN and Jim Cameron of Hillsboro, one sister, Jane Cameron of Hillsboro, five grandchildren; Cameron and Ellie Uldricks, Aubrey, Aiden and Amberlee Moore and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday October 5, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery with Rev. Maurice Mitchell officiating.
Friends may call at 12:00 P.M. until time of service on Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Highland County Animal Shelter.
