John W. Cummings, Jr., age 60, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
He was born at Covington, KY on October 14, 1948 the son of the late John W. and Margaret F. Clayton Cummings, Sr.,
John was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, retired from Cincinnati Bell was an avid outdoors men who loved to hunt, fish, calf roping, heading and heeling. John was a Navy Veteran serving in Viet Nam.
He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Clinton J. and Lisa Cummings of Hillsboro, OH, Joseph and Heather Cummings of Hillsboro, OH, four grandchildren, Cade, Wyatt, Jolee, Paige Cummings all of Hillsboro, OH, one brother and sister in law, Jim and Kathy Cummings of White Fish, Montana, and one sister Cindy Homan of Batavia, Oh, .
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Owensville, Oh, with Father Mike Paraniuk officiating.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM till service time at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church.
Gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 5:30 PM at the residence of Clint and Lisa Cummings.
