John Fisher, 65 years of Peebles, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 29, 1948 the son of the late Howard and Helen Pumpelly Fisher.
John was a member of the Peace Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Norris Fisher of Peebles, whom he married on December 8, 1973, two sons, James and Janell Fisher of Dayton and Matt Fisher of Peebles; two brothers, Ben Fisher of Seattle, Washington and Allen Fisher of Cincinnati; two sisters, Caroline Bohl of Georgetown, Ohio and Sally Hicks of Dallas, Texas; and one granddaughter, Elloise Fisher.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
