John G. Greene, 76 of Peebles died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital.
He was born on October 3, 1927 at Peebles, Ohio the son of the late John and Jeannetta Shoemaker Greene.
He was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ and was a self employed in Sales.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eulene Doolin Greene on October 6, 1986.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Gail Greene of Greentown, IN, Mark and Connie Greene of Cincinnati, Matthew and Cheryl Greene of Peebles, two daughters and son-in-law, Nancy Greene of Columbus, Betty and Dennis McFarland of Unicoi, TN and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery
Friends may call on Sunday from 12:00 noon till servcie time at 3:00 P.M. at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
