John Leeth, 88 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Scioto County, Ohio on March 24, 1914 the son of the late Orval and Lucy Bending Leeth.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the West Carrollton VFW #3438.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Judy Leeth of Hillsboro, Gary and Glenna Leeth of Hillsboro, two daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Ruth Evans of Maryland, Mary and Jim Shadd of Dayton, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and sister, Elizabeth Mitchell of Peebles.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at the Otway Cemetery. Burial will follow in the Otway Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 till 12:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
