John R. McCormick, 70 years of Seaman, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at his residence.
He was born in Seaman, Ohio on October 22, 1932 the son of the late Clarence A. and Helen L. Zimmerman McCormick.
He was a member of the Seaman United Methodist Church. He was a 1950 graduate of Seaman High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a lifetime farmer in the Seaman area.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Everett "Pete" Reeder.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Lois Reeder McCormick of Seaman, mother-in-law, Edna Reeder of Tollesboro, Kentucky, two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Marsha McCormick of Seaman, John D. McCormick of Seaman, two grandsons, Robbie and Austin, and sister, Evelyn Satterfield of West Union.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. at the Seaman United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Virginia Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
