John L. Ritchie, 60 years of Morris, Indiana, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Margaret-Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, Indiana.
He was born in Madison, Indiana on July 22, 1946 the son of the late Edgar and Mary Loralene Lynch Ritchie.
He was a retired truck owner who drove for Howard Baer Trucking Company and also had worked as a Foreman for the King Arthur Carnival.
He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Shiveley Ritchie, children, Mike, Amy, Billie Jo, and Dalton, grandchildren, Nancy, Nathan, and Ashley, and half brother, Jim Ritchie.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery with Larry Shiveley officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till time of service at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
