John Randall Shaffer, 41 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, February 11, 2002.
He was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on May 31, 1960 the son of Warren and Berniece Crabtree Shaffer.
He was an electrician for Palm Harbor Homes. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Catron Shaffer, who he married on June 17, 1982, son, Johnny Shane Shaffer of Hillsboro, daughter, Brandy Heather Shaffer of Hillsboro, granddaughter, Hailey Breann, father and mother, Warren and Berniece Shaffer of West Union, maternal grandmother, Ruby Crabtree of Sugartree Ridge, brother, Anthony Shaffer of Wilmington, sisters, Beverly Hurles of Washington Court House, Carol Wright of Norwood, and father and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Helen Catron of Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Elmer Hurles officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
