John E. Wesley, age 73 of Peebles, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born on May 10, 1939 the son of the late Robert and Jennie Pyles Wesley.
John was a member of Beech Fork Church; he was an Operator Engineer of Union Local #18 Cincinnati District 5, a member of the N.R.A., and a trustee at Beech Fork Church.
He is survived by his wife whom he married on August 15, 1959, Loretta Johnson Wesley of Peebles, two sons and daughters-in-law; Ted and Carla Wesley of Peebles and Johnny and Andrea Wesley of Peebles, three daughters; Kathy Meyer of Louisville, Kentucky, Mary and Mike Brown of Otway, and Connie Wesley of Peebles, three brothers; Sonny of Georgetown, Gene of Peebles, and Myron Wesley of Peebles, four sisters; Miriam Mosbacker of Williamsburg, Annette Jolly of Hillsboro, Rita Maxson of South Carolina, and Luzene Peterson of Mt. Orab, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Beech Fork Church with Mark Baer, Debbie Baer, Tom Brown, and Doug Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
