It is with a sense of both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Jonathan Hogsett, 51 years of age, on January 10, 2025. Born in Wilmington, Ohio, Jonathan lived a vibrant life filled with love for his family, friends, and a deep passion for fast cars and drag racing. He is the son of Tom Hogsett of Hillsboro and Mary Clements of Hillsboro. Jon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Genevieve Hilton and Tom and Ruth Hogsett.
Besides his parents, Jonathan is survived by his devoted wife, Kelli Gibson, children, April Stephens of Las Vegas, Ashleigh(Jon) Ballein of New Vienna, Amanda (Sebastian) Evans of Las Vegas, Justin Hogsett of Blanchester and Hunter Gibson of Las Vegas; siblings, Linda (Daryl) Roberts of New Vienna and Wayne Hogsett of Pennsylvania, grandchildren, Avalynn, Haiden, Marilyn and Bentlee of Las Vegas, Lailah and Brayden of New Vienna, nieces and nephews, Jacob (Ashley) Roberts of Hillsboro, Reva (James) Allen of Lynchburg, special grandmother, Patrica Newman and a special friend Kim Burris.
Jon's family and friends recognize the joy he brought into their lives and the lives of many. While his physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit will forever rev in the hearts of those who loved him.
