Josephine Ellen Anglin, 91 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Union Township, Highland County, Ohio on October 1, 1912 the daughter of the late Ulric and Anna Hart Stockwell.
She retired in 1973 from the Highland County Department of Human Services after twenty years of service. She was a member of the St. Mary?s Episcopal Church, the Hillsboro Chapter #441 O.E.S., and the Hillsboro Emblem Club.
She was united in marriage on July 25, 1936 to William Bill Hall, who preceded her in death on December 15, 1964. She was united in marriage on June 28, 1968 to John Franklin Anglin, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Harold and Henry Stockwell.
She is survived by her nephew, Douglas Stockwell of Lynchburg, and niece, Deanna Smaltz of Lynchburg.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Steve Bondurant, Celebrant and Rector Keith Mathews. Burial will follow in the Dunn's Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Eastern Star services to be held at 8:00 P.M.
