Josephine Blevins, 64 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday evening at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1944 in Pike County, OH. the daughter of the late Orville and Hazel Jordan Perkins. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter Christine Michelle Jenkins; four brothers, William, Tommy, John and Paul Perkins; five sisters, Linda Williamson, Violet Mae Freeze, Shirley East, Dorothy Jean Perkins, Dollie Potts.
Josephine drove a school bus for the Western Latham School System for 18 years.
On August 6, 1960, she was united in marriage to Hobert A. Blevins who survives. She is also survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Hobert Allen and Maria Blevins, Jr. of Indiana, Herbert L. Blevins of Waverly, OH.; two daughters, Angileta Jo Kinnamon of Florida, Priscilla D. Blevins of Buford, OH.; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James Perkins of Newark, OH., Wayne and Chris Perkins of Nashport, OH., Orville and Amy Perkins of Washington C.H., OH.; one sister Darlene Perkins of Newark, OH.; ½ brother Oscar Barnett of Willard, OH.; sister-in-law Marilyn Perkins of Newark, OH.; brother-in-law Bert Williamson of Newark, OH.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
The Rev. Jeff Adams will officiate with burial to follow in the Westwood Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
