Joyce A. Charles

Joyce A. Charles, 88 years of Dublin, passed away on Thursday April 28, 2022.
She was born in Kinney, Texas on September 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Richard and Etta (Gatrost) Cash. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her husbands, Fredrick Frakes, Wendell Charles and Russell Maze and brother, Richard Cash.

To serve her family and others throughout her life she was a switchboard operator, secretary, receptionist, cashier, hospice volunteer, head cook at Camp Bountiful, Pastor's wife, women's leader and minister at Community of Christ. As an artist she crafted, sketched, painted, knitted, and crocheted items to gift and sell. She also sold Shaklee vitamins, Dutchmade clothing, Coventry jewelry and Avon.

Joyce is survived by her children, Sherrie (JoAnne Martin) Davidson of Kettering, Lana (Steve) Stamper of Blue Creek, Debra (Richard) Gibbons of St. Petersburg, FL, Robert (Yvonne) Charles of Xenia, Wendy (Don) Amburgey of South Vienna and Gary (Angela) Charles of Hilliard, thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Sunday May 1, 2022, at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 am until time of services on Sunday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
