Joyce Ann Hoop, 71 years of Peebles, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on January 1, 1936 the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Copas Woods.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Hoop, who passed away on March 14, 2002.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sheila Hoop of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Harry Shoemaker of Peebles, brother, Roger Woods of Peebles, sisters, Mae Wolfingberger of Hillsboro, Sandra McCleese of Peebles, Carolyn Smith of Seaman, Ronda Hauke of Hillsboro, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd and Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
