Jr. Freeland, 83 years of Peninsula, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at University Hospital in Bedford, Ohio.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on October 16, 1927 the son of the late Elvis and Frances Davis Freeland, Sr.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three sons; Dale of Twinsburg, Ohio, David of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Dean Freeland of Columbus, Ohio, three daughters; Mary Deel, Barbara Sweeney, and Nancy Freeland all of Twinsburg, Ohio, two brothers; Paul of Cherry Fork and Bob Freeland of Pendleton, Indiana, two sisters; Becky Morales of Decatur, Indiana and Nellie Imes of Columbus, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Daniel McCann officiating. Burial will follow in Oliver Township Baptist Cemetery with a military graveside service given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
