Juanita Fern Badgley

Juanita Fern Badgley, 77 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born August 21, 1931 in Highland County, OH, the daughter of the late Clarence V. and Alpha Hilderbrand Porter. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Badgley in 1991; one brother Howard E. Porter; one sister Geneva McClusky.
Juanita was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie #1161 Ladies Auxillary in Hillsboro, Hillsboro American Legion Ladies Auxillary, Cook at the Hillsboro County Home for many years and did in Home Health Care.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Louis Benton and Jennifer Badgley of Newnan, GA.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dena Hiler of Cherry Fork, OH., Ann and Garry Stone of Peebles, OH., Bobbie and Jim Sowards of Belpre, OH.; one sister, Jane Alphen of Cincinnati, OH.; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Rev. Allan Hunt will officiate with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
Friends may call on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
