Juanita L. Scheffler, 82 years of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
Juanita was born on April 27, 1938 in Stockbridge, Vermont, the daughter of the late Zonro and Leona (Buttles) Trantham. Besides her parents, her husband, Charles L. Scheffler, Jr. on May 5, 1987, one son, Charles III and sister, Corene Grisham, also preceded her.
Juanita was a baker for Biggs at Eastgate and delivered for the Cincinnati Post for several years. She also attended the Marshall Church of Christ; she was a member of the Batavia IOOF and a Chicago Cubs Fan.
Juanita is survived by her son, Duane & Tina Scheffler of Hillsboro, daughters, Juanita Maria Smalley of Hillsboro and Charlotte Scheffler of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Brittany Scheffler, Daniel Smalley, Lindsay Smalley, Autumn Smalley, Christopher Smalley, Charles Scheffler IV, Brandon Smalley, Matthew Smalley and Duane F. Scheffler, sixteen great grandchildren and sisters, Patricia Stanifer of Blue Ash, Sandra Overton of Goshen and Gladys and Jinny of Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home. The burial will follow at the Tate Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until time of service Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home.
