Juanita Swingley Wallingford

Juanita Swingley Wallingford, 90 years of Hillsboro, died Monday morning, May 24, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born December 19, 1919 in Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harry and Vessie Weaver Holbrook. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband James W. Wallingford on July 2, 1977, one sister Moncia Holbrook, three brothers Buford Holbrook, James Holbrook and Herbert Holbrook.
Juanita was a member of the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene where she taught children�s class. Juanita and James farmed until they purchased in 1964 the grocery store in Dodsonville where they operated the Wallingford Grocery Store until 1978.
On June 22, 1996 she was united in marriage to Robert D. Swingley who survives. She is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles L. and Victoria C. Wallingford of Kettering, OH., Donald G. and Linda L. Wallingford of Lebanon, OH., two step sons and daughter-in-law, Dale and Jan Swingley of Loveland, OH., Bobby Swingley of Loveland, OH., two step daughters, Sandy Sonner of Hillsboro, OH., Dottie Swingley of Hillsboro, OH., four grandchildren, Lorren D. Wallingford of Lebanon, OH., Kara D. Wallingford of Lebanon, OH., Brian Scott Wallingford of Beaver Creek, OH., Janel Renae Wallingford of Kettering, OH., three great grandchildren, Spencer C. Wallingford, Lindsay N. Wallingford and Keegan L. Wallingford, three brothers, Virgil Holbrook of Grove City, OH., Delbert Ellen Holbrook of Circleville, OH., Hobart Holbrook of Chillicothe, OH., two sisters, Freda Lindsey of Circleville, OH., Mary Contner of Bellefontaine, OH., two sisters-in-law, Verna Holbrook of Circleville, OH., Mary Holbrook of Circleville, OH..
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene.
Pastor Tom Zile and Rev. Curtis Randolph will officiate with burial to follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene.
The Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.
