Judy Ward, age 70 of Peebles, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at SOMC Hospice.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on December 19, 1943 the daughter of the late James and Hazel Piatt Boyd.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tara Ray Ward and one brother, Arlen R. Boyd.
Judy attended Union Hill Church.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Ward of Peebles; sons, Chad and Cathy Ward of Kettering and Travis and Rhonda Ward of Piketon; daughter, Karen and Pete Holden of Hillsboro; brothers, Jim Boyd of Peebles and Gary Boyd of Huber Heights; 8 grandchildren, Bobby, David, Tristan, Brock, Tamara, Brittany, Katelyn, and Cheyenne; and 3 great grandchildren, Tristen, Madison, and Isabella.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Hill Church with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the church.
Memorials may be made to SOMC Hospice, 2203 25th St, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
