June Elaine Downs, 61 years of Seaman, died Friday, November 23, 2007 at her residence.
She was born June 14, 1946 at Nicholasville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edward Shearer and Alma Hill Carroll of Seaman. Beside her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Downs in 1996.
Beside her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Elaine Vonder-brink of Aberdeen, OH.; one son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Hope Hupp of Batavia, OH.; step daughter Kristen Aaron Curbello of Carlsbad, N.M.; step son, Damon Laurie Downs of Amelia, OH.; four brothers, Greg Carroll of Seaman, OH., Steve Shearer of Winchester, OH., Tim Shearer of Delaware, OH., Paul Shearer of Simpsonville, S.C.; five sisters, Janice Coleman of Lakeside, CA., Judy Neff of Crystal Beach, FL., Jennifer Carroll of Manchester, OH., Janny Lynn Freeman of Dallas, TX., Misty Mack of Hicksville, OH.; 11 granddaughters, Brandi, Heather, Ashley, Chasity, Krystal, Amanda, Magebracht, Jackalyn, Shannon Chloe, Maddie, Caylen Hannah; 2 great granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman.
Rev. Dan Harrison will officiate with burial following in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
