Karen Jean Washburn, 56 years of Bainbridge, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at her residence.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on March 17, 1952 the daughter of the late James F. Luman and Dorthy Frazier Luman of Hillsboro, OH.
Beside her father she was preceded in death by her husband Rick Washburn in 1990, and father-in-law Howard Washburn.
She is survived by her mother Dorothy Luman of Hillsboro, OH. Son Rick Washburn of Hillsboro, OH. Daughter & Son-in-law Kelley & Rob Nicely of Mt. Orab, OH. Brother & Sister-in-law James R. & Delia Luman of Fincastle, OH. Two sisters Linda Luman of Hillsboro, OH, and Mary Ellen Masters of Rainsboro, OH. Mother-in-law Wanita Washburn of Bainbridge, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio with Rev. Robert Nicely officiating. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
