Katharn Katie Blanche Fender

Katharn Blanche "Katie" Fender, 87 years of Goshen, passed away Wednesday October 16, 2013 at the Venetian Gardens.

She was born in Fayette County on March 22, 1926, the daughter of the late James and Lydia Riley Ogden. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Claude "Tad" Fender, daughter Sharon Wilkin, son Darrell Fender and three sisters Ida Schadle, Edna Parr, Mary Alice Odgen, three brothers Nelson Odgen, Oakley Odgen, Thomas Odgen.

Katie is survived by her daughter Kristie Carter of Seaman, 9 grandchildren: Brian Wilkin, Kevin Wilkin, Rebecca Van Winkle, Jodie McPherson, Michael Carter, Brandon Carter, Brandon Carter, Shawn Fender, Michelle Fender and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday October 18, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the Thompson Funeral Home.
